    Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of 3-oxo-3-arylpropanenitrile compound is provided to manufacture 3-oxo-3-arylpropanenitrile compound with a simple method and with a high yield in the mild condition. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of 3-oxo-3-arylpropanenitrile compound comprises a step of manufacturing 3-oxo-3-arylpropanenitrile compound by reacting aryl halide with activated nitrile and a carbon monoxide in the presence of palladium catalyst with one step method. The aryl halide and the 3-oxo-3-arylpropanenitrile compound are represented as respective following chemical formula 1: Ar-X; and chemical formula 2: Ar-C(=O) CH2CN. In chemical formulas, the Ar is C6-14 aryl or C1-C10 heteroaryl and X is halogen atom.
