    Abstract: Coreoperca herzi Herzenstein is Perciformes and is Korea endemic species which belong to Centropomidae and Coreoperca, together with Coreopercakawamebari. A study on Coreoperca shows that appearing frequency is 1% among fresh water fishes, but the Coreoperca has been recently decreased by a trend of an ecosystem change due to the construction of dams, the contamination of living waste water and agricultural chemicals. According to the overall opening of the import of marine products, competitive fish species development is required. At the point of time, Coreoperca should be protected as an important species in Korea, particularly, the need of aquaculture development of the Coreoperca is highly magnified. Therefore, the study relates to an aquaculture development technique of the Coreoperca. The research on fodder acclimation for fries shows that animal plankton (Artemia, water flea) has highest survival rate and fodder acclimation rate when the fries are fed for more than 40 days. Cultured Coreoperca are injected with a spawn inducing agent (HCG) and the collection of eggs is induced. Massive artificial seeding production is possible by culturing fishes through the research of gonadosomatic index (GSI) and the growth and survival rate of fry (F2). [Reference numerals] (AA) Collect the fertilized eggs of Coreoperca herzi Herzenstein in nature and hatch out them in an artificial incubator tank;(BB) Discharge the incubated fry to the river where the eggs were collected;(CC) Maintain the water temperature at a certain level after the incubation and provide the fry with fodders and feeds;(DD) Wait until the fry grow more than 7cm;(EE) Make the grown fishes spawn by adjusting the water temperature and feeding them with HCG-added feed;(FF) Secure a pool of grown fishes for a fish farming business
