Abstract: 본 발명은 PVO(poly(vanillin oxalate)) 공중합체, 상기 PVO 공중합체를 포함하는 PVO 미립구, 상기 PVO 미립구를 포함하는 약물전달체, 항산화용, 항염증용, 암세포 전이 억제용 조성물 및, 허혈성 질환의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 PVO 미립구는 독성이 없으며, 우수한 생체적합성을 가지고 있고, 염증 조직 및 세포에서 나타나는 생리적 조건인 낮은 pH 및 과산화수소에 민감하게 반응하여 바닐린을 방출함으로써 뛰어난 항산화 및 항염증 효과를 가지고 있으며, 암세포 전이 억제 활성 및 허혈성 질환에 대한 우수한 치료 효과를 가지고 있어, 다양한 의약 분야에서 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a polymer scaffold comprising vanillin and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention is compatible for biodegrading, derives cell growth, accelerates basic growth, and continuously emits vanillin for obtaining anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, thereby being useful as a biodegradable material, drug delivery material, and a pharmaceutical composition.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a poly(vanillin oxalate) (PVO) copolymer, a PVO microsphere including the PVO copolymer, a drug carrier including the PVO microsphere, a composition for anti-oxidation, anti-inflammation, and cancer cell metastasis control, and a composition for preventing or treating ischemic diseases. The PVO microsphere according to the present invention is non-toxic and has excellent biocompatibility. The PVO microsphere sensitively reacts to low pH and peroxide which are physiological conditions exhibited in inflammatory tissues and cells to discharge vanillin so that excellent anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation effects are ensured. The PVO microsphere has a cancer cell metastasis control activity and an excellent therapeutic effect for ischemic diseases so as to be used in various medical fields.
