Abstract: Disclosed is a functional operative needle holder. The disclosed operative needle holder includes: a grip knob which a user is to grip and has a circular bar shape; an outer and an inner grip plate which are installed not to rotate around the front end of the grip knob and between which the gap can be widened or narrowed to hold or release an operative suture needle; a push handle which is installed on the grip knob, is connected to the inner grip plate, and narrows down the gap between the outer and the inner grip plate by push operation of the user; an outer and an inner moving plate which are installed at the front end of the grip knob to be rotatable and between which the gap can be widened or narrowed to hold or release the operative suture needle; a moving handle which is installed on the grip knob, is connected to the outer and the inner moving plate, and controls the gap between the outer and the inner moving plate by rotation operation of the user; and a moving knob which is installed on the grip knob, is connected to the outer and the inner moving plate, and rotates the outer and the inner moving plate by rotation operation of an operator.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A needle holder for surgical operations is provided to enable an operator to suture a surgical area continuously with one-handed simple motions, thereby reducing an operation time. CONSTITUTION: A needle holder comprises a handle rod which is grasped by a user; one pair of first grip plates(21, 22) which are rotatably combined to the front end of the handle rod; one pair of second grip plates(31, 32) which allow an operator to selectively hold an surgical needle; and a push plate(41) which is rotatably installed at the front end of the handle rod and pushes the surgical needle to pass through tissue at a surgical area.
