    Abstract: PURPOSE: A catalyst for hydrogen generation is provided to be able to generate hydrogen at a room temperature with a high hydrogen generation efficiency, to be reusable as no byproduct is produced and the catalyst is inactive, and to be able to generate hydrogen with sunlight only without separate heating. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst for hydrogen generation is a nanofiber composite comprising one kind of nanoparticles selected from titanium dioxide nanofiber and the transition metal and metal oxide included in said titanium dioxide nanofiber.
