Abstract: The present invention relates to an active remedial exercise apparatus for a physically handicapped person. The apparatus comprises: a sensing unit which is dispersedly attached to a user body and has multiple muscle reaction sensors which sense and report each body part which generates a muscle reaction; an electrical stimulation unit which is dispersedly attached to the user body in order to be adjacent to the multiple muscle reaction sensors and has multiple electrical stimulation pads which apply an electrical stimulation for muscular power generation in the body part which generates the muscle reaction; exercise equipment for supporting the remedial exercise of the user; and a control unit which controls the electrical stimulation unit based on the sensing result of the sensing unit and makes the user generate muscular power for driving the exercise equipment.
