Abstract: PURPOSE: A detection method of an accident and parking violation based on the computer vision in a road image are provided to automatically determine accidents and parking violation by using real time image. CONSTITUTION: A real-time image is obtained through an image capture device(201). A background image is obtained from the real time image. The difference between the real time image and the background image is calculated. A binary image is formed. A marker image is generated by an AND operation of the binary image. The marker region is set in the marker image. An object image is formed by using the real image. A final image is formed through the AND operation of the object images. Accidents or parking violation is determined base on the final image.
