Abstract: A metal oxide nanostructure is provided to artificially manipulate a phase of the metal oxide nanostructure and facilitate a process of re-constructing a surface of the metal oxide nanostructure. A method for producing a lead oxide(PbO2) nanostructure comprises the following steps of: adding a sol-gel precursor to a mold or a film with nano-sized pores(a); and applying force to an axis direction of swirl of the metal oxide sol(b). The mold or film with nano-sized pores indicates anodized aluminium oxide(AAO). The sol-gel precursor of the metal oxide is prepared by dissolving lead salt in an acid solution. Applying force to an axis direction of swirl is performed by spin-coating. The nanostructure having an orthorhombic structure shows a nano wire or nanotube.

Abstract: Provided is a method for modifying geometry of nanostructures with simple manipulation so that the geometry-modified nanostructures can be used as nanodevices. A method for modifying geometry of nanostructures includes a step of irradiating electron beam to the nanostructures. The nanostructures indicate nano tubes, nano wires, nano rods, nano tetrapods, nano tripods, nano bipods or nano ribbons. The nanostructures are carbon nanotubes, nanostructures of metal, nanostructures of metal oxide or nanostructures of metal oxide complex. The nanostructures are represented by the formual of AxA1-x'ByB1-y'O3. In the formual, A and A' are independently metal elements belonging to a group 2A or 4A; B and B' are independently metal elements belonging to a group 4B.

Abstract: (a) 나노세공(nanopore)을 갖는 주형(template) 또는 막(membrane) 상에 금속산화물(metal oxide) 졸(sol)을 첨가하는 단계; 및 (b) 상기 금속산화물 졸에 와동(swirl)의 축 방향으로 힘을 적용하는 단계를 포함하는 나노구조(nanostructure)를 제조하는 방법 및 이로부터 형성된 나노구조에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 방법에 따르면, 고 종횡비(high aspect ratio)를 가지는 기능성 금속산화물 나노선(nanowire) 및 나노튜브(nanotube)를 간단하면서도, 재현성이 높고, 짧은 시간에 제조할 수 있다.

Abstract: A method for preparing nanostructures is provided to produce functional metal oxide nanowires and nanotubes having a high aspect ratio with high reproductivity within a short time. A method for preparing nanostructures includes the steps of: (a) adding metal oxide sol to a template or rod having nanopores; and (b) applying force to the metal oxide sol in an axial direction of swirl. The template or rod having nanopores is anodized aluminum oxide, polycarbonate, MCM-41 mesoporous molecular sieve, or polyester. The metal oxide is a composite metal oxide represented by a formula 1 of A_xA_(1-x')B_yB_(1-y')O_3, wherein A and A' are independently a metal element in a group 2A or a group 4A, B and B' are independently a metal element in a group 4B, x is a number ranging from 0 to 1, and y is a number ranging from 0 to 1. Further, the group 2A or the group 4A is selected a group consisting of Ba, Pb and Sr, and the group 4B is Ti or Zr.
