Abstract: PURPOSE: A music search system based on emotion and situation and a method thereof are provided to supply searched music to a user by searching for suitable music according to an emotional state of a user. CONSTITUTION: A terminal suggests one or more representative music preset for a selected emotion among proposed sensitive adjectives(S210). The terminal transmits selected music among one or more suggested representative music to a server(S220). The server searches for music similar to the selected music(S230). The server transmits the searched result value to the terminal. The terminal suggests the transmitted result value(S240).
