Abstract: A method for controlling the water level of farmland by using a sensor network, and its control system are provided to protect crops from a spell of rainy weather and a heavy rain by controlling the water level according to the water level information collected by sensor nodes. A method for controlling the water level of farmland by using a sensor network comprises: water level control gates(200~340) which are installed between a plurality of farmlands arranged in the form of a matrix and control the water level of each farmland by opening/shutting operation; water level sensors which sense the water level of each farmland; and a plurality of sensor nodes(SN1~SN9) which control the opening/shutting of the water level control gates according to the water level information provided by the water level sensor and forms a sensor network. A method for controlling the water level of farmland by using a sensor network comprises: (i) collecting water level information from each water level sensor; (ii) exchanging two pieces of water level information through the communication between sensor nodes receiving the two pieces of water level information; and (iii) opening the water level control gate installed between adjacent farmlands according to the exchanged two pieces of water level information, thereby controlling the water level.

Abstract: 본 발명은 농경지에 센서 노드를 설치하고, 센서 노드에 의해 수집된 수위 정보에 따라 농경지의 수위를 조절함으로써 자동 또는 원격으로 수위를 조절할 수 있는 센서 네트워크를 이용한 농경지 수위 조절 방법 및 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 농경지 수위 조절 시스템은 매트릭스 형태로 배열된 복수개의 농경지의 수위를 조절하는 농경지 수위 조절 시스템에 있어서, 상기 농경지 사이에 설치되며 개폐에 의해 상기 각 농경지의 수위를 조절하는 수위 조절 게이트; 상기 각 농경지의 수위를 감지하는 수위 센서; 및 상기 수위 센서가 제공하는 수위 정보에 따라 상기 수위 조절 게이트의 개폐를 제어하며 센서 네트워크를 형성하는 복수개의 센서 노드를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
