Abstract: PURPOSE: A poser recognition method is provided to improve the reliability of a face detecting function by maintaining the balance of a face area. CONSTITUTION: An effective image extraction unit extracts effective image from the user image of a frame(S300). A skin color extraction unit extracts skin color from the effective image(S310). A noise elimination unit eliminates noise image from the image of the detected skin area(S330). An area display unit performs a labeling operation(S340~S360). In case the effective area is extracted, a determination unit determines a face area corresponding to the skin area(S380).
