Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for detecting an adaptive receiving signal for power line communication is provided to monitor a channel state of a power line, and to control a state of a receiving signal detection device, to have an optimized receiving rate, thereby improving entire data rate and accuracy as reducing hardware burden and delay time. CONSTITUTION: An MCU(Main Control Unit)(10) controls a data transmission timing. A register(12) stores and outputs control data, threshold value, offset value, and an error rate value received from a main MCU by the MCU interface(10). A control logic(14) controls a selection of the threshold value according to the control data stored in the register(12). A reference data selector(16) selectively outputs the threshold value and the offset value or an external threshold value and an external offset value to the register(12) under control of the control logic(14). A data processor(18) decides whether serial receiving data received through a power line is available data, by the selected threshold value, and outputs the data.
