Abstract: PURPOSE: A computer system capable of inputting a plurality of keys of a software keyboard simultaneously and a method for controlling thereof are provided to input corresponding keys simultaneously although characters are inputted in a software keyboard simultaneously. CONSTITUTION: A display(11) displays a software keyboard and data. A touch sensor panel(14) is attached to the display(11) and senses a pressing of the corresponding character of the software keyboard by a user. An analogue/digital converter(7) converts an output signal of the touch sensor panel(14) into a digital signal. A micro controller(16) interfaces data if data are inputted from the analogue/digital converter(7). If the first data and the second data are inputted simultaneously or successively, a CPU(12) detects a position of the first data and corrects a position of the second data based on the position of the first data, and displays the positions on the display(11). A timer(8) checks a time. An HDD(19) stores an operating system and a control program. In addition, a display controller(13), a system server(15), a keyboard(18), and a mouse(17) are provided.
