    Abstract: A method for controlling TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access)-based data transmission in a wireless network including plural nodes, a sensor network system using the same, and a computer-readable recording medium are provided to reduce power consumption in a transmission process by making a cluster head activated only during a cluster formation period. A cluster head is determined to form a cluster(S110). The cluster head receives Information of every node of the cluster to form the cluster(S120). The cluster head broadcasts information about a contention period to every node of the cluster(S130). The cluster head receives IS(Interest to Send) information transmitted from each node of the cluster during the contention period(S140). The cluster head generates a transmission schedule for each node of the cluster for a data transmission(S150). The generated transmission schedule is broadcast to every node of the cluster(S160). Each node performs data transmission according to the transmission schedule(S170). When there is no data, data transmission is terminated.
