    Abstract: The present invention relates a ruler having a cutting function capable of cutting an object without damaging a floor on which the object is laid, and fixing the ruler and the objet together to cut the object easily. A mother ruler (10) and a son ruler (2) have, at both end portions thereof, a hole through which a bolt is inserted. The mother ruler (1) and the son ruler (2) are overlapped with each other, and an object to be cut is interposed between the rulers and is fixed by fastening nuts.
