    Abstract: The present invention relates to an engine used as a driving source of a motorcycle, a vehicle, and other mechanism and maximizing output by using a cam type engine instead of a reciprocating engine which uses a crankshaft. The engine includes: a cam type engine (10) allowing a driving shaft (15) to rotate by rotating a cam (16) according to the vertical movement of a piston (11); a compressor (20) supplying, to the cam type engine (10), gas compressed by a crankshaft (25) rotating with the driving shaft (15); a planetary gear (30) connecting the driving shaft (15) and the crankshaft (25) so that a rotation ratio of the driving shaft (15) to the crankshaft (25) is 1:2; and a cam shaft (40) opening and closing an intake valve and an exhaust valve of the cam type engine (10). The engine makes the cam type engine (10) to perform explosion stroke twice while the driving shaft (15) rotates once.
