    Abstract: An elasto-porous sheet for shielding an electromagnetic wave and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to prevent a plating film from being peeled or deteriorated by a close contact strength between an elasto-porous and the plating film. An elasto-porous sheet for shielding an electromagnetic wave includes an elasto-porous(100), a palladium catalyst layer(110), plating films(121,122,123), and a protective film(130). A plurality of through holes(105) are formed in the elasto-porous. Pores are distributed throughout a volume of the elasto-porous. The pores includes an independent pore and a continuous pore. The through holes are formed to screen effectively the electromagnetic wave. Diameters of the through holes are particularly not limited, but the diameters are preferably in the range of 0.3 to 1.5mm. The catalyst layer is formed to increase an adsorption with the plating films and the elasto-porous. The catalyst layer is formed on a surface of the elasto-porous and surfaces of the through holes. The plating films are preferably formed of three layers such as a nickel plating film, a copper plating film, and an anti-corrosion plating film.
