A polarizing plate for an organic light emitting diode of the present invention comprises: an adhesive layer; a retardation film; a polarizer; a uniaxially oriented polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) resin layer comprising a photochromic and dichroic compound; and a protective film, all of which are sequentially laminated. The transmissivity and degree of polarization of the polarizing plate for the organic light emitting diode are adjusted based on the state of an external light source, thus improving the contrast ratio and bright room contrast ratio of the polarizing plate.

PURPOSE: A polarizing plate and an organic light emitting device including the same are provided to improve the light loss of blue emitting spectrum. CONSTITUTION: A phase difference film (30) is formed at one side of a polarizing film (20). A protection film (10) is laminated on the other side of the polarizing film. The protection film uses a reflection preventing film, a low refraction rate film, and a hard coating film. The polarizing film has transmissivity of 0.95 to 1.1. The phase difference film controls phase difference or has view angle improving function by controlling the optical property of lights. The phase difference film varies linearly polarized light to circularly polarized light or circularly polarized light to linearly polarized light by granting a phase difference as much as λ/4 to two polarizing elements which are mutually perpendicular and parallel to the optical axis of phase difference film as a λ/4 phase difference film.

A first protection film(102) is laminated at the upper surface of the polarizer. A second protection film(106) is laminated at the lower surface of the polarizer. PURPOSE: An OLED(Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display device is provided to obtain the effects of improving the side viewing angle without internally changing a light-emitting cell. CONSTITUTION: A protection film(13) and a retardation film(12) are laminated on both sides of a polarizer(11) respectively at a polarizing plate(100). An adhesion layer(14) is laminated on one side of the retardation film, and a positive C-plate(16) is laminated between the polarizer and the retardation film.

PURPOSE: An optical feature measuring method is provided to perform precise measurement and increase reliability by reducing interference. CONSTITUTION: A film(100) includes a birefringent material layer(104). An interference preventing layer(200) is formed on the birefringent material layer. The refractive index of the birefringent material layer is lower than the refractive index of the birefringent material layer. A light source irradiates light onto one side of the interference preventing layer. Reflected or transmitted light is detected. Optical features are measured by the processes above.

A polarizing plate of the present invention comprises a polarizer having an orientation degree of equal to or more than 15 represented by a following formula (1), and a high orientation polarizer can be produced by stretching a polyvinyl alcohol film having a crystallinity degree of at least 0.40. The polarizing plate of the present invention, a manufacturing method thereof, and an optical apparatus having a polarizing plate represent high transmittance and high polarization characteristics and include high white brightness, high contrast, and high durability. The orientation degree is calculated by (RD/RPVA)× 100. According to the same, the RPVA is orientation of the polyvinyl alcohol, and RD is the orientation of the dichroic substance.
