Abstract: Provided is a photocurable adhesive resin composition, which is cured by ultraviolet irradiation within a short time to form a coating film with good transparency and has good adhesion by reducing residual stress exerting a bad influence upon a substrate. The photocurable adhesive resin composition comprises (A) 10-90wt% of a cationic polymerizable monomer selected from epoxy monomers, oxetane monomers, or a mixture thereof, (B) 9.5-60wt% of a multi-functional polyol, and (C) 0.5-5wt% of a cationic photopolymerization initiator. The multi-functional polyol(B) has a polycaprolactone structure, a polyester structure, a polyether structure, or a polycarbonate structure and comprises at least two hydroxyl groups at the terminals.
