Abstract: A defect detecting device securing enhanced detecting ability is provided to increase SNR(Signal-to-Noise Ratio) of signals output from a magnetic sensor array by using an amplifying unit and a filtering unit. A defect detecting device securing enhanced detecting ability is composed of a magnetic sensor array(221) detecting the leak magnetic flux generated from a defective part of an object magnetized by a magnetic source; an amplifying unit(222) amplifying the signals output from the magnetic sensor array and outputting the amplified signals; a filtering unit(223) filtering and outputting the signals output from the amplifying unit; a selection unit(224) selectively outputting the signals output from the filtering unit and corresponding to an output selection signal having the predetermined number of bits; a conversion unit(225) converting an analog data signal output from the selection unit, into a digital data signal; a storing unit(226) storing the digital data signal; and a CPU(Central Processing Unit)(227) removing noise included in the digital data signal by software, generating a display data signal indicating difference among outputs of magnetic sensors adjacent to each other in a magnetization direction, and then outputting the display data signal to a display device(215).
