Abstract: PURPOSE: A valve regulated lead acid battery using an absorbent glass mat is provided to prevent the swelling phenomenon of a case due to high inner pressure in a battery by including polypropylene with inorganic filler added. CONSTITUTION: A valve regulated lead acid battery (100) using an absorbent glass mat includes a case (110) in which a specific space is formed; a plurality of unit cells (120) in the case, which has positive electrode plates (121) and negative electrode plates (122) alternately arranged; an electrolyte (130) being filled in the case; a separator (140) which is installed between the unit cells and is formed of an absorbent glass mat; and a cover (111) for sealing the inner space of the case in a state that the unit cell, electrolyte, and separator are arranged in the inner space of the case.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A T-shaped welding method of a pole rod tab for a secondary battery is provided to obtain a welding side with uniform welding parts and low heat influence and to reduce welding area and welding defects by using a laser welding method. CONSTITUTION: A T-shaped welding method of a pole rod tab for a secondary battery includes a step of arranging a plurality of electrode plates (10) in a multilayer structure and disposing a pole rod (20) on a tab installed on the electrode plates; and a step of laser beam (L)-irradiating the pole rod from the upper part of the pole rod and welding the tab and the pole rod by residual heat after penetrating the pole rod. The laser beam has a size of 600-800 micron, 1800 W output, and a movement speed of 1.7-2.1 m/min and conducts a welding.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a gasket using a fluent substance. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a gasket using a fluent substance, wherein the gasket further has a reinforcing layer formed on the inner surface of an elastic surface layer and prevents the elongation of the elastic surface layer sealing the fluent substance layer forming the surface of the gasket, thereby improving the durability of the gasket further. According to the present invention of the purpose above, the gasket is installed between the components, prevents fluid leakage, and comprises a substrate having a proper outline which corresponds to the component to be installed having a plurality of holes through which a fluid can flow; the fluent substance layers spread on both surface of the substrate at a predetermined thickness; the nonmetallic elastic surface layers sealing the fluent substance layers forms into the surfaces of the gaskets; and the reinforcing layers adhere to the inner surfaces of the elastic surface layers and restrains the elongation of the elastic surface layers.
