    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for determining the origin of pig meat by analyzing the ratio of carbon and nitrogen identify the origin of the pig meat using the difference of safety isotope ratio ( (delta^13C,delta^15N-value ‰) of each country pig meat. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining the origin of pig meat comprises the steps of: separating a fat part from the pig meat and removing moisture and removing moisture; freeze-drying; and identifying isotope ratio (‰) of in an autoanalyzer. The moisture is removed by adding 100 mL of toluene to 10 g of a protein sample and azeotropic distillation at normal pressure for 2 hours. The pig meat is freeze-dried at 2025 deg. C and 10 mTorr for 24 hours.
