    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for constructing underground structure using permanent structural member of building as sheeting strut is provided to shorten the term of works, to reduce construction expenses, to execute underground excavation works easily and to exclude a correction work of post clearance. CONSTITUTION: The method for constructing underground structure using permanent structural member of building as sheeting strut comprises the steps of: installing a retaining wall(4) along the border of a building and driving a center pile in the position of a building column according to a sectional plan; after primary pit excavation, fixing and installing a steel bracket(24) for supporting a primary wall girder mold form and placing a girder in the retaining wall(4); erecting a mold form(10) for molding a primary wall girder on the steel bracket(24); placing a girder(20), whose one end is fixed with a shear connector(28) for the wall girder, to place in the mold form(10) for molding a primary wall girder, and fixing the other end of the girder(20) to a center pile or a girder; arranging a reinforcing bar in the mold form for the primary wall girder; placing concrete in the mold form to be buried together with the shear connector(28) to connect a retaining wall(4), a wall girder(18) and a girder(20) in one; and repeating above processes as many as the number of the necessary basement.
