Abstract: The process for producing a gel-type gelatin adhesive is characterized by (a) adding 1-6 wt.% Na2HPO4 to 60-64 wt.% gelatin (C102H151N31O39), and agitating the mixt. at 80-90 deg.C for 2-6 hr, (b) adding 0.3 wt.% C6H5COOH, and agitating for 30 min, (c) adding 0.3 wt.% H2O and 0.6 wt.% HF, and agitating for 30 min, (d) adding 25-34 wt.% CaCO3, and agitating for 1 hr, (e) adding 3-4 wt.% carbohydrate, and agitating at 40-60 deg.C for 1 hr, and (f) adding 0.02 wt.% perfume, and agitating for 20 min. The gelatin adhesive is used in the mfr. of fiber tubes.
