Abstract: A device for folding paper is provided to fold the paper perfectly by stopping a rotation of a folding roller, in case a folded part of paper is located on the right center between two folding rollers. A device for folding paper comprises the followings: a pair of folding rollers(110) going in gear and rotating; an operating motor of the folding roller(120) rotating a pair of the folding rollers; a blade(130) pressing the center of the paper; an operating motor of the blade(140) reciprocating the blade; a location sensing unit(150) sensing the location of the paper; and a control unit(160) controlling the folding roller by outputting a control signal to the operating motor according the location of the paper.

Abstract: 본 발명은 책자를 형성하기 위하여 용지가 접히도록 하는 용지 폴딩 장치로서, 상기 용지가 인입되어 압착되도록 서로 맞물리어 회전하는 한 쌍의 폴딩롤러; 상기 한 쌍의 폴딩롤러가 회전되도록 하는 폴딩롤러 구동모터; 상기 용지가 상기 한 쌍의 폴딩롤러 사이로 인입되도록 왕복운동하여 상기 용지의 중앙을 가압하는 블레이드; 상기 블레이드가 왕복운동하도록 하는 블레이드 구동모터; 상기 블레이드의 구동에 의해 상기 한 쌍의 폴딩롤러 사이로 인입되는 용지의 위치를 감지하는 위치감지수단; 및 상기 위치감지수단의 감지결과에 따라 상기 폴딩롤러 구동모터에 제어신호를 출력하여 상기 폴딩롤러의 구동을 제어하는 제어부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 폴딩능력을 향상시킨 용지 폴딩 장치 및 이의 제어방법에 관한 것이다.
