    Abstract: 본 발명은 토너를 이용하여 현상하는 복사기등의 기기에서 폐토너 만배를 검지하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 토너보급 횟수를 체크하여 폐토너 만배여부를 판단하는 폐토너 만배검지를 위한 제어방법에 관한 것이며, 폐토너 만배여부를 기존의 방법과는 달리 소프트웨어적으로 판별하되, 토너의 보급량, 즉 토너보급 횟수를 체크하여 미리 정해진 일정횟수에 도달했을 때, 사전에 경고하는 의미로 소정의 LED를 점멸시키면서 그로 부터 일정 매수까지만 복사가 가능하도록 하고, 상기 일정 매수가 복사될 때까지도 폐토너가 회수되지 않으면, 더 이상 복사동작을 수행할 수 없도록 하기 위하여 해당기기를 정지시킴으로서, 기기 전체적의 구조를 단순화하여 필요공간 및 제작비용을 현저하게 감소시키고, 기존의 오검지에 의한 오동작 등을 배제시켜 동 상의 신뢰도를 제고시키는 효과를 갖는다.

    Abstract: checking whether a flag for toner recovery is turned on; inputting a value of a white part of a drum read from a P sensor and a pattern value; checking that a value obtained in dividing the pattern value by the value of the white part of the drum, is over a predetermined value; if the value is over the predetermined value, increasing a counting value of the toner, turning on a LED of the Toner End, setting up a state memory flag, and stopping operating a main motor; if the value is below the predetermined value, confirming the pattern value read from the P sensor, confirming whether the toner is added or not, and checking the state memory flag of the toner; if the flag is turned on, increasing the counting value by 1 and repeating the above steps till a given time; if the time is over, turning off the LED, setting up the number of coping operations; and finishing the copy operations by turning off the LED, stopping operating the main motor, making the flag for toner recovery at on, and turning off power.

    Abstract: The recognition method which does not use the sensors attached to the paper cassette or the size setting switches has the regist sensor (6) locating the paper transmitted by the seperation pad (3) and the roller (2) via the upper/lower guider (4,5) to find out whether the paper is jammed or not. The size of recopy paper is also detected by counting clocks from the time when a sheet of paper is detected by the regist sensor (6) to the time when the paper is moved out.
