Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for controlling fixing temperature of electronic photo printer is provided to prevent an overheating by a successive print based upon the control of a temperature of an initial fixing roller as a temperature which is less than a normal temperature. CONSTITUTION: A main control board(1) performs a fixing temperature control in a temperature when standing by a print(401). The main control board(1) sets a first fixing temperature which is higher than a normal temperature by a uniform temperature and judges an on/off state of an exposure lamp(8). The main control board(1) maintains the first fixing temperature when the exposure lamp(8) is turned off and sets a second fixing temperature which is higher than the first fixing temperature when the exposure lamp(8) is turned on(403,404). The main control board(1) judges as to whether a paper is located on a fixer through a sensor(3)(405). The main control board(1) judges a size of the paper when the paper is located on the fixer(407). The main control board(1) stops the operation of a fixing heater(7) when the identification of the paper size is completed(406,408).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for controlling speed of a fan motor for a picture forming device is provided to continually reduce/control rotation speed of the fan motor, without using load resistance. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling speed of a fan motor for a picture forming device comprises: a controller for varying a duty rate of pulse according to a copy operation condition; a time counter for controlling pulse applying time according to the controller; and a driver for driving a fan motor as time allowed in the time counter. The controller varies the duty rate of the pulse, applied so that rotation speed of the fan motor is differently driven, according when it is copying stand by time, and when forming the picture, and when completing the formation of the picture. The rotation speed of the fan motor, when completing the formation of the picture, is bigger than the speed when it is the standing by time, and the rotation speed of the fan motor, when the formation of the picture is bigger than the rotation speed of the fan motor when completing the formation of the picture.
