Abstract: A fax data transmission method, and a multi-function device, a management server, and a fax data transmission system are provided to make it unnecessary for a user to memorize fax addresses in full, by transmitting fax data to an address, which is selected from a previously stored address book, through a management server. A multi-function device(100) transmits fax data together with a user authentication request signal, an address book information request signal, and a fax data request signal. The fax data request signal requests the transmission of fax data from address book information to a selected address. A management server(200) performs user authentication in response to the user authentication request signal, transmits the address information book to the multi-function device in response to the address book request signal, and transmits fax data to the selected address in response to the fax data request signal.
