Abstract: PURPOSE: A character printing device for the outside mirror of a vehicle is provided to enhance productivity and to reduce a cost by automatically printing characters. CONSTITUTION: A character printing device for an outside mirror consists of a stopper(2) stopping a mirror transferred along a belt(1); a straightening plate(3) straightening the position of the mirror with a first cylinder; and a lifting plate(4) lifting the mirror with a second cylinder(4a). The stopper, the straightening plate and the lifting plate are arranged on the printing device in the transferring direction of the belt at regular intervals and a silk-screen printing device(5) is installed in the upper portion of the lifting plate. Therefore, the characters are automatically printed on the outside mirror by the silk-screen printing device after the mirror is stopped and straightened by the stopper, the straightening plate and the lifting plate.
