    Abstract: A device and a method for generating a low correlation zone sequence sets in a sub-synchronous CDMA system are provided to improve performance of the sub-synchronous CDMA system by generating row sequence sets having good correlation characteristics, thereby minimizing interference between users in the sub-synchronous CDMA system and accordingly lowering a signal-to-noise ratio. A device for generating a low correlation zone sequence sets in a sub-synchronous CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) system comprises the followings: a progression generating unit(100) which generates and outputs a progression(sequences) S(t) having ideal autocorrelation characteristics; a delay unit(200) which delays the sequences, generated in the progression generating unit(100), in order and outputting the sequences; and a matrix generating and row order rearranging unit(300) for rearranging a matrix generated in the delay unit(200) and outputting the row progressions.
