Abstract: PURPOSE: An input device for a tablet computer is provided to give a user tactile feels of a mechanical keyboard, thereby allowing the user to minimize typographical errors, and type much faster and accurately. CONSTITUTION: A main body (110) is placed on a touch screen of a table computer. An input unit (120) is contacted with the touch screen according to operations of a user for inputting various characters to the tablet computer. The input unit comprises a plurality of input unit bodies (122) combined with the main body to be capable of moving up and down and corresponding to input keys of a virtual keyboard formed on the touch panel of the touch screen; a push protrusion protruding from the bottom of an input unit body toward the touch screen; and a conductive contact coated in the bottom surface of the push protrusion and being contacted with the touch screen by a decent of the input unit body.
