Abstract: PURPOSE: A remote area real time observing method and system by using a mobile terminal and/or a PC are provided to reduce personnel expenses and cope with an emergency situation effectively. CONSTITUTION: An image camera(20) installed in an observation site photographs an observation target as video. An encoder(30) converts the video photographed with the image camera(20) into standard video data and transmits it through an Internet network. A stream server(40) transmits the standard video data as a video stream through the Internet network in response to a request for checking the video data that has been transmitted from the encoder(30). A receiver of a PC(50) and/or a mobile terminal(70) displays the video stream transmitted from the stream server(40) so that a user can view it from an area distanced from the observation target.
