Abstract: 본 발명은 허수테논을 유효성분으로 포함하는 아토피성 피부염 개선용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 조성물의 유효성분인 허수테논은 아토피성 피부염에서 증가되는 호산성백혈구(eosinophil)의 수와 IgE의 수준을 감소시키며, 아토피성 피부염과 관련된 면역 조절 사이토카인인 IL-4, 5 및 13의 수준도 현저히 감소시키는 효능을 갖는다. 또한, 허수테논은 COX-2 및 iNOS의 발현을 감소시키는 효과가 있다. 본 발명의 유효성분인 허수테논은 우수한 아토피성 피부염 개선 및 치료용 약물, 화장품 및 식품으로 개발에 유용하다.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition including pellitorine as an active ingredient for alleviating contact dermatitis. A pellitorine compound which is an active ingredient of the composition according to the present invention is secreted in the early stage of various strong inflammatory diseases so as to control the secretion of IL-1beta which is cytokine promoting an inflammatory response and also control the proliferation of T cells and the secretion of IL-2, IL-4, or IFN-gamma which is cytokine secreted from T cells so that immunity can be regulated. Moreover, the compound exhibits activities in controlling the secretion of IL-1beta, inhibiting the decomposition cleavage of caspase-1, having no cytotoxicity, and decreasing skin thickness in contact dermatitis in an experiment using a contact dermatitis animal model as an animal model. Accordingly, it is expected that the composition of the present invention can be usefully used as a pharmaceutical composition, a cosmetic composition, or a functional food composition for preventing or treating inflammatory skin diseases like contact dermatitis.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A hirsutenone compound is provided to largely improve oxidative stability of hirsutenone by manufacturing with an antioxidant in a liquid formulation or impregnating into a lipid medium. CONSTITUTION: A liquid formulation composition contains hirsutenone of chemical formula 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable antioxidant. The antioxidant is a water soluble antioxidant such as ascorbic acid, ascorbate, EDTA, or an EDTA salt. A method for preparing lipid nanoparticles containing hirsutenone comprises the steps of: mixing hirsutenone with molten lipid and preparing melting lipid containing hirsutenone; dispersing the molten lipid in a solution containing a surfactant and preparing a dispersion; and homogenizing the dispersion and preparing lipid nanoparticles containing hirsutenone.
