Abstract: 본 발명은 분리된 미토콘드리아를 유효성분으로 포함하는 건병증 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 미토콘드리아를 유효성분으로 포함하는 약학 조성물은 염증반응에 의해 손상된 건세포의 ATP 합성능 및 항산화능을 정상 건세포 수준으로 회복시킬 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 약학 조성물을 손상된 건세포에 투여할 경우, 세포사멸 인자인 Bax의 발현을 억제하며, 세포사멸 억제 인자인 Blc-2의 발현을 증가시킨다. 또한, 본 발명의 약학 조성물을 손상된 건세포에 투여할 경우, MMP1의 발현을 정상 건세포 수준으로 회복시킬 수 있다. 따라서, 본 발명의 약학 조성물은 건병증을 예방 또는 치료하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cord blood-derived stem cell or a pharmaceutical composition comprising a cord blood-derived stem cell and erythropoietin for treating developmental disabilities including genetic diseases. More specifically, developmental disabilities due to genetic diseases can be treated effectively by injecting the cord blood-derived stem cells and EPO together or separately. The pharmaceutical composition can be industrially used as an effective therapeutic agent since no therapeutic method for the developmental disabilities, especially the genetic diseases, have existed until now.
