Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a pulp is provided to quickly control polymerization degree without other chemicals or energy. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating a pulp comprises a step of pre-treating a cotton ingredient by an electronic beam and effectively removing impurities. The pulp ingredient is a raw cotton, a cotton linter, a wood chip, or a non-wood material. The dose of the electronic beam is determined according to the desired value of polymerization of cellulose in the pulp. The method further comprises a step of pulping and bleaching.
