Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)-zeolite composite membrane and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to concentrate organic materials by efficiently separating water from the mixture of the water and the organic materials. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a PVA-zeolite composite membrane includes the following: a PVA aqueous solution containing 5-20 weight% of PVA and 80-95 weight% of distilled water based on the total weight of the aqueous solution is prepared; 5-10 parts by weight of a cross-linking agent is added into 100 parts by weight of the PVA aqueous solution, and the mixture is stirred for 12 hours to 3 days at a temperature between 5 and 40 degrees Celsius; zeolite powder is added into the stirred solution and is stirred for 12 hours to 10 days at a temperature between 5 and 40 degrees Celsius to prepare a PVA-zeolite solution; and the PVA-zeolite solution is applied and dried for 20 to 50 hours at a temperature between 30 and 100 degrees Celsius to obtain a PVA-zeolite composite membrane.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of hydrophilic NaA zeolite nano-particles is provided to enhance dispersibility between particles and to obtain uniformity of particle sizes. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of hydrophilic NaA zeolite nano-particles comprises the following steps: manufacturing a solution I by including 40-60 wt% of silica sol and 40-60 wt% of distilled water based on the total weight of the solution I; manufacturing a solution II by including 5-7 wt% of Al (OiPr), 30-40 wt% of tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide 5 hydrate (TMAOH·5H2O), 3-5 wt% of 1M NaOH and 50-60 wt% of H2O based on the total weight of the solution II; agitating the solution I and solution II by mixing at the weight ratio of 1:2-1:5 at room temperature for 12 hours-10 days; and agitating the mixture of the solution I and II in a 60-100 deg. Celsius thermo-bath for 5 hours-3 days.
