    Abstract: PURPOSE: A Bacillus amyloliquefaciens CP1 having an antifungal activity to Colletotrichum gloeosporioides and to suppressing growth of the fungus. CONSTITUTION: A Bacillus amyloliquefaciens CP1(deposit number:KCTC 11676BP) has an antifungal activity to Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. A culture of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens CP1 prevents Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. Powdery mildew of strawberry is prevented using the culture by culturing at 10-50°C and pH 5-8. A method for promoting strawberry growth comprises a step of diluting the culture in a ratio of 1/10-1/2000 and treating the diluted culture to strawberries.
