Abstract: PURPOSE: A malignant operation processing method in a portable terminal and apparatus thereof are provided to reduce mistake detection rates and unidentified detection rates by implementing an operation based malignant code detection method. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring unit(312) monitors and transmits operation and data of an application and access of the application to resources of a portable terminal. An analysis unit(316) determines access to malignant codes and the resources in the application by analyzing a monitoring result. A control unit(314) controls the execution of the application according to a determination result. The monitoring unit monitors information collection of the resources and controls resource usage by connecting to the resources of the portable terminal.
