Abstract:
PURPOSE: A polypropylene-polylactic acid mixed resin/graphene/natural fiber bionanocomposite is provided to remarkably improve mechanical properties such as tensile strength, flexural strength, and impact strength by uniformly dispersing graphene and natural fiber due to the addition of a compatibilizer. CONSTITUTION: A bionanocomposite includes a polypropylene-polylactic acid mixed resin, a compatibilizer, graphene, and natural fiber. The propylene is selected from a propylene homopolymer, the copolymer of a (C2-18)α-olefin and propylene, or a mixture thereof. The polylactic acid one or more selected from poly-L-lactic acid, poly-D-lactic acid, or poly-L,D-lactic acid each of which number average molecular weight is 10,000-100,000. The compatibilizer is maleic anhydride-grafted-polypropylene. The amount of the maleic anhydride included is 0.1-5.0 wt% with regard to the compatibilizer.

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing temperature and pH sensitive hydrogel is provided to ensure high mechanical strength and to use for an actuator such as sensor or switch, drug carrier, prosthesis, and artificial skin and muscle. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing temperature and pH sensitive hydrogel comprises: a step of preparing microcapsule; a step of polymerizing and crosslinking the microcapsule, to obtain IPN(interpenetrating polymer network) hydrogel. The crossliking is performed by reacting polyvinyl alcohol and poly N-isopropyl acrylamide with crosslinking agent.
