Abstract: The present invention relates to a production method of complex crystal phase titanium dioxide nanorods for applying to a dye sensitive solar cell. The present invention comprises the following steps: dipping a glass substrate in a first precursor solution containing water, hydrochloric acid, and titanium alkoxide, and hydrothermally synthesizing to form rutile type titanium dioxide nanorods; inserting the glass substrate after the previous step into a titanium tetrachloride solution, and settling the result at room temperature for etching the surface of the rutile type titanium dioxide nanorods and forming a branch shape; dipping the glass substrate after the previous step into a second precursor solution containing water, sulfuric acid, and titanium alkoxide, and growing anatase type titanium dioxide nanorods on the surface of the rutile type titanium dioxide nanorods; and plasticizing the anatase type titanium dioxide nanorods.
