Abstract: PURPOSE: A three phase current type DC/DC converter with an active clamp method is provided to increase a voltage boosting ratio by forming a current type structure including the active clamp lamp circuit. CONSTITUTION: A three phase current type DC/DC converter(300) with an active clamp method is connected to a full bridge rectifier(200) through a three phase high frequency transformer(100). A current type converter(310) is comprised of six MOSFET main switch and one boost inductor. An active clamp unit(320) is comprised of one MOSFET auxiliary switch and a clamp capacitor. The three phase current type DC/DC converter reduces the switching loss by a zero voltage switching action through the resonance action between the MOSFET auxiliary switch, the stray capacity of the three phase high frequency transformer, the capacitance of a clamp capacitor, and a leakage inductor of the three phase high frequency transformer. The clamp capacitor clamps the inductor surge voltage applied to one MOSFET auxiliary switch.
