    Abstract: PURPOSE: Thermally modified firewood for camping and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce initial ignition time, to prevent the generation of smoke, and to obtain higher calorific power than general wood. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of thermally modified firewood for camping is as follows: a step of cutting hardwood at a predetermined length; a step of moving the cut pieces of the hardwood to a high heat processing chamber and thermally processing the cut pieces of the hardwood by spraying steam at 150-230 °C for 5-24 hours in a predetermined humidity; and a step of gradually decreasing the temperature of the high heat processing chamber to a room temperature for a predetermined time.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A laminated wood thermally modified and injected with nano-inorganic material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reinforce the surface hardness of the wood with a surface treatment process due to the injection of the nano-inorganic material and to improve the fire resistance of the wood. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a laminated wood thermally modified and injected with nano-inorganic material includes: a step of injecting the nano-inorganic material into minute pores on the surface of a lamina prepared by cutting a thinned log with a predetermined width and thickness; a step of drying the lamina with a drying facility; a step of thermally modifying the lamina at 150 to 230 Celsius degrees for 12 to 24 hours inside a thermal modifying chamber; a step of gradually decreasing temperature inside the chamber to ambient temperature through 5 to 15 hours after thermally modifying the lamina; a step of mutually facing the thermally modified laminas vertically or horizontally, mutually bonding the laminas with a bonding agent, and then sanding the surfaces of the laminas.
