    Abstract: PURPOSE: A column type damper to improve earthquake-resistant performance of a building is provided to delay or prevent cracking even in unexpected load. CONSTITUTION: A column type damper to improve earthquake-resistant performance of a building comprises a column structure(10), reinforcement units(20), and bolts(30). The column structure is formed between slabs(41,43), and composed of cement paste or cement mortar, fiber, and a steel. The reinforcement units connect the column structure and the slabs. The bolts install the reinforcement units to the column structure and the slabs.
