Abstract: The fragrance emitting dispensing pump (10) has a pump mechanism (15) and pump head on one end of the pump mechanism (15). The pump head comprises an upper and a lower portion (16,14). The fragrance substance (30) is within an internal area in the upper portion (16). The lower portion has a structure (19) for attaching the dispensing pump (10) to the container (12). The upper portion (16) of the pump head has a dispensing channel (21,22) through the internal area that on one end extends into the lower portion (14) of the pump head to the pump mechanism (15) and at a second end is open to the exterior atmosphere. A peripheral wall (28) of the upper portion and a peripheral wall (29) of the lower portion (14) have a space. Upon the actuation of the dispensing pump fragrance that is contained within the internal area is emitted dynamically from the space. The fragrance substance may be a solid, solid particles or it can be compressible material.
