Abstract: A brush section (104) for use in a powered toothbrush (100), and a powered toothbrush (100) utilizing the brush section (104) are provided. The brush section (104) has a generally disk shaped carrier (180) from which extends at least one finger (184) that has oral care elements (190), i.e., bristles and elastomeric cleaning members, extending outwardly therefrom to provide increased contact area between the oral care cleaning elements (190) and oral gingival tissue for enhanced massaging thereof.
