Provided are a method for preparing a pigment composition, which enables a proper amount of a pigment composition to be timely produced and is small in quality deviation of products in lots, and a colored composition obtained thereby, which forms a color filter having a high contrast ratio. The method for preparing a pigment composition comprises a step of kneading a mixture including an organic pigment, water-soluble inorganic salts, water-soluble organic liquid, and a resin using a continuous kneader(10). The kneader(10) comprises a driving shaft(121), an annular fixed disc(21), a rotary disc(23) that has the same center with the fixed disc(21) and rotates around the driving shaft(121) integrally, and a dedifferentiated space formed in a gap between the fixed disc(21) and the rotary disc(23). The resin is a rosin resin.

PURPOSE: A method for producing fine organic pigment is provided to obtain a colored film with high transparency and excellent view-angle dependency. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing fine organic pigment comprises the steps of: obtaining a mixing composition by mixing organic pigment, water-soluble inorganic salt, water-soluble organic solvent, and resin; and removing water-soluble inorganic salt and water-soluble organic solvent in water. The resin has the solubility of 1 part by weight or more per 100 parts by weight of water-soluble organic solvent at 25°C. The resin has a group selected from an amino group and quaternary ammonium salt.

Provided is a method for preparing an epsi-form phthalocyanine pigment which is applied to the field requiring a high gloss, a high coloration strength and a good transparency or an ink-jet printer ink. The method comprises the step of kneading a kneading mixture comprising an alpha-form phthalocyanine, an epsi-form phthalocyanine, a water-soluble inorganic salt and a water-soluble organic solvent with a continuous kneader which is provided with a cylindrical casing, a circular fixed disc installed on the casing with an identical center, a drive shaft, a rotation disc to be rotated by the drive shaft, and a pulverization space formed at the gap between the fixed disc and the rotation disc.
