Abstract: A sheet type magnetic substance and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to secure visibility of a printed unit through a transparent resin by inserting the printed unit between the transparent resin and a magnetic layer. A sheet type magnetic substance(1) includes a transparent resin(2) and a magnetic layer(5). The sheet type transparent resin has a printed unit on one surface. The printed unit includes at least one kind of a character, a symbol, or a figure. The magnetic layer contains at least soft magnetic metal powder and a binder and is formed on the one surface of the transparent resin. The printed unit is formed in a multi-layer structure. A coating layer(4) is formed over the entire one surface of the transparent resin to cover the printed unit.
