Abstract: PURPOSE: A golf course bunker and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce maintenance costs by preventing the slope of the bunker from collapsing at the time of a heavy rain. CONSTITUTION: A golf course bunker comprises the ground(10), a drain structure(20), a sand sheet, and a sand layer. The drain structure drains water flowing along the ground and comprises a slope drain structure(21) and a curve drain structure(22). The slope drain structure is installed on the slope of the bunker and drains water flowing along the slope of the bunker. The curve drain structure is installed on the curve of the bunker and drains water flowing along the curve of the bunker. The sand sheet covers the ground and the drain structure. The sand layer is formed on the top of the sand sheet.
