Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an earphone jack support that has a structure that causes no defect against an external stress such as a wrenching force by an earphone plug or the like, and offers electric stability. CONSTITUTION: An earphone jack (conventionally abbreviated H.S.J) 11 is provided with a 1st support rib 15 and a 2nd support rib 16 that are fixed by soldering to a printed circuit board 13, and erected to a shield case 14 for support in the horizontal direction and also with a 3rd support rib to be erected at right angle to the printed circuit board. This shield case 14 is supported at a right angle to the printed circuit board by a 4th support rib 18 erected to a case 12.
