Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a portable terminal device, where the stiffness of a device body has been improved by constructing a relationship where an inner rotor rib and an inverse inner rotor rib are adjacent each other, even if the device body is miniaturized and thinned. CONSTITUTION: A first rib 13, erected in parallel with an outer wall at a certain distance from an outer wall, is provided in an upper case 11, and a groove part 14 is formed by the first rib 13 and the outer wall. Also, a lower case 12 is provided with a second rid 15, that can be engaged with the groove part 14 of the upper case 11, thus simultaneously constructing the relationship between the inner rotor and the inverse inner rotor of the upper and lower cases 11 and 12 and at the same time, improving the stiffness of the upper case 11, by erecting the first rib 13 at the upper case 11.
